Mountain Tower
This is my submission to the GMTK 2024 Game Jam: "Built to Scale"! A Jump King inspired Foddian platformer.
My mind immediately went to scaling a mountain or a building, and I decided to combine the ideas into the story! The townsfolk really wanted something like a mountain to climb, but there were none around, so the Mountain Tower was Built to be scaled! In addition, I made the player be a lizard with scales for a bit of extra theming. I hope you have fun and hopefully don't get too mad :)
Feel free to comment a screenshot of your Summit Time if you manage to beat it!
After reviewing some playtests and playtesting some more myself, I realized the beginning area was a bit harder than I initially intended, so I updated the game to make it better. The quicksand feature also go revamped, and the air strafing and coyote time got increased a bit.

It's really good! I love the art and the experience of playing!Looking forward to your future work!
The timer is slightly broken at the top and doesn't display seconds accurately but minutes and hours should be correct, also there are some rope sprites missing near the top, but the climbing is functionally the same.
